I found that "ffmpeg" on Linux can access HLS/DASH streams, so I wrote some scripts and "cron" entries to be able to record and timeshift shows (not individual tracks). It's now my main means of recording, with streamWriter acting as a valued backup. I listen to Celtic music, and the last couple of years we've lost WGBH's Celtic Sojourn, and Thistle and Shamrock is gone, too, so I really need my BBC stuff. |
