Unfortunately most of the times I close StreamWriter I get the following error:

An error occured while saving the data file. Please make sure you can write to "C:\Documents and Settings\****\Desktop\Portableapps\StreamWritter Portable\streamwriter_data.dat" and that the file is not in use by another application. Click "Yes" to try again, "No" to exit without saving data.

I removed lots of added streams without improvement regarding this issue. Not sure what to try next…

OK it seems the issue is related to ignorelists. They are what contributes most to the database size. After getting at least 4 continuously times the error on exit, after deleting some ignorelists the database saved normally.
