Does anyone know if streamWriter can be configured for use with a physical DAB tuner device, similar to those used by RTL-SDR enthusiasts (USB DAB tuner devices)?

There are programs for these DAB devices that some have made (SDR-J DAB for example) but they are so convoluted for the purpose and streamWriter has the far superior UI for playback/recording streams that I was hoping someone may know how to set it up to support local streams, even if just to act as a front-end.

This should work but you will have to convert the received stream by the device to a stream streamWriter understands and make it accessible over network. Also streamWriter will not be able to change the received channel on the device, I don't think using streamWriter for this is a good solution.

Thanks for the reply, alex.

Yeah, it looks like more trouble than it's worth to configure such a setup. I also discovered DAB (rather than DAB+) is a pretty awful quality.

More than anything I think it's that I wished there was an FM tuner program with a simple, decent interface that supports recording.

If anything it's a testament to the quality of streamWriter's UI :)
