When I added \%number% to the stream name (settings/Filenames > Pattern for filenames of stream files) the actual name of the stream changes to:

Atlantic Oldies 2NG\%number%.mp3

when it should have been

Atlantic Oldies 2NG\001.mp3

When I tried just replacing the %streamname% with just %number% the filename ended up as

%number%.mp3

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Hi,

some variables are not useable for stream files, only for saved songs. Some time ago the description text in streamWriter mentioned this but it seems it went away, I don't know why… I will reintroduce this information.
