When I start Streamwriter, it automatically opens (not visually, I only see bitrate of that stream in indication area in bottom) a stream… it took me awhile to figure out, which stream it opens and result was pretty odd: It's connecting automatically to some Worldtruth.org stream http://23.239.115.100:8000/ … strange because before that, I haven't even heard about this stream and definitely never tried to capture it with streamwriter…

This kind of behavior is very very unusual for this software, especially when I have never before even heard about this stream.

This is a feature to monitoring streams for automatic recording by wishlist!
You can disable it under "Enable monitor mode" in the setting dialog.

Thank you, that did answer to my question. It was simply just so odd behavior I had to check it out to be sure.
