Hi,

streamWriter is one of the very few applications, really the only one that I can think of right now, that does not offer to output audio to the Primary Sound Driver, the default audio device in Windows. This device is handy, because it works with the Windows secure audio path, so if you switch your audio in Windows settings from speakers to headphones for example, ALL applications that write to Primary Sound Driver are automatically and seamlessly switched over. streamWriter requires a settings change and a restart of the stream playback.

The other devices would still be available, for those who want to always output to a specific device.

Tested on stable build (629) and latest build (642).

Hi,

this is now on my TODO list and won't take much time to be done.

Kind regards,

Yay!;-)

I wonder how many people are using streamwriter to also just listen to streams at their computer, because it does a pretty good job of that too.
