Hi,
I have a load of scheduled recordings set up on a stream eg:
mon 07:00 - 11:00
mon 11:00 - 13:00
mon 13:00 - 19:00
tue 07:00 - 11:00
etc

Most of the time this will work perfectly and the above will create 4 separate files and then stop.

However - sometimes streamwriter goes wrong and will start the 07:00 recording but never ever stop it. I then end up with one massive file which may be 24-36 hours long (depending how long before i noticed).

If I then restart my computer it will usually kick in again and start recording properly.

Sometimes if my internet/the stream drops and it looses the stream briefly and after restarting it will start/stop correctly.

I don't know what is triggering this - Streamwriter will work perfectly for 3 weeks before it starts doing this.

Hi,

this is a known timing issue. To work around this, try to configure one schedule to stop at for example 11:00 and configure the next one to start at 11:01. That should do the trick.
