Hi guys.

The software doesn't seem to support ogg streams. The only thing I found about this was a thread from 2011 with a promise-ish thing about adding ogg stream support in the future. Sadly, it never happened.
Is there a way to add ogg stream support manually somehow? It would be really-really helpful!

Thx

You cannot add this manually, this is a thing that needs to be built into streamWriter and I don't think that will ever happen, sorry…

May I ask why? Is it not being developed anymore?
Streamwriter could probably be the best software for stream recording on the market, but the lack of OGG support is a considerable drawback.

At the moment I only have time to fix bugs or introduce very minor new features.
Some years ago I tried to implement OGG support but as far as I remember the format of OGG streams differs completely from MP3/AAC streams… I'd love to see OGG support too but I just don't have time to look at this:-(
