"An unhandled exception occurred and the application needs to exit. A file containing information about the crash was saved to the desktop"

I tried to install the app, to use it portable, I deleted the registry entry, the config files in the app folder, it asked me to choose registry or config files and tried both options.
Nothing seems to work. I have it installed on a laptop without any problems.
Please, if someone can give me a light on this… I'm completely lost.
I already had this same problem like one year ago, and I know I solved copying files from my laptop, but this time it is not working at all.
