Why is it so much effort? Do you want to process the audio data? Why not just write it to the file as it comes from the server with meta-data removed? |

But I thought about just writing the data for AAC as you are suggesting and I think it will be okay for a first version.
Expect it to be ready next week, this would be a really nice feature |

But it doesn't work good for me yet, i have little sound interruptions & whole stops during the playback using the relay server.
Tested using VLC 1.0.3 and Technobase.fm AAC+ stream. |

I know that the relay server is not perfect yet and I hope I can invest some time for improvement in the future. Actually I only tested it using Winamp. Does VLC at least play the recorded AAC files? |
