I use streamwriter to record folk and celtic music programs (not individual songs). I have scheduled a number of programs (less than 10) that repeat on a weekly basis.

Streamwriter records the programs as scheduled but also is making unscheduled recordings on those streams.

What can I do to stop the unscheduled recordings.

What do you mean by "unscheduled recording"? Recordings you started manually? Recordings started using the wishlist and enabled automatic recordings?
